Electric commands

There’s something I love about stormy days. The uncontrollable feeling the lightening striking in a moment’s notice in its bright blue and pink and yellow for an instant covering the cloudiness of our days demanding attention to the sky as if to say look up and see you have no control, “I am I,” She commands. As if we thought for a second we had a role in this. The thundering thunder you feel in your bones in an instant you don’t expect because you can’t it startles you and comforts you in a way that no other natural occurrence can. The rain pours down in sheets and then drops and then sprinkles and then sheets at the rhythm it chooses because it has no agenda it has no deadline it has only its time its life its presence If we stop to feel it. Electric. Will we feel it?
