Jeanine Elizabeth Otte is a writer, poet, speaker, educator, and social change co-creator. Jeanine inspires a radical shift in thinking and living by uncovering the ancient wisdom of Earth and ordinary people, and sharing her visions for a caring, whole world. Jeanine creates at the intersection of the environment, economy, race, gender, family, body autonomy, and experiences of women and children. Jeanine has twenty years of professional experience working in underserved communities to advance social justice through organizing, policy, strategic communications, community engagement, program design/implementation, strategic planning, thought leadership, workforce development, and small business support. Jeanine is a certified conversation leader for a caring economy through the Center for Partnership Studies, member of the Community Advisory Council for the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, and inaugural alumna of the Quentin D. Young Equity Project connecting practitioners of social equity across sectors. She is a partner to Carlos and parent to Malcolm, Michelle, and Nicole.
